Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and digitally savvy Social Media Manager to come aboard our dedicated marketing team. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative social media strategies to elevate our brand presence, engage our audience, and maximize our reach across various platforms. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and enhances brand visibility.
- Create, curate, and manage published content across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply these insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product development and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive message and responsive engagement.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide weekly and monthly reports summarizing findings and suggesting improvements.
- Oversee social media advertising campaigns, optimizing them for maximum ROI.
- Build and manage a content calendar ensuring timely execution of planned campaigns.
- Conduct research on market trends and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
- Train other staff members in social media best practices and community management.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who not only has a passion for social media but also possesses the right skills and experience. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a track record of increasing brand awareness and generating engagement.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and tactics in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
